Customized Wedding Ceremonies
I book weddings in the Los Angeles area, including Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Malibu, and the South Bay. I also am available for weddings in Monterey County, including Big Sur, Carmel, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach. I can also travel with an additional fee, and I am licensed in the state of Hawaii.
Our first step will be a complimentary call so that we can get to know each other, ask questions, and find out if I'm the right wedding officiant for you.
Getting Started
Our work together will begin with a video call or in-person meeting where I’ll learn about what’s important to you for your wedding day and your ceremony. Within the basic structure of a wedding ceremony outline, there is plenty of freedom to bring out the right mix of tradition, spiritual, symbolic, and even playful elements.
Planning
I will create a ceremony outline based on the traditions, rituals and readings you’ve chosen, and then I’ll write the ceremony script, which you’ll be able to review to ensure that it’s perfect for your day. I will also hold a ceremony planning session with you to walk through all the elements, including the vows, ring exchange, readings and rituals…I want you to know that every detail will flow smoothly and gracefully on the day that you say, “I do.”
Your Wedding
At your rehearsal I will guide you and your wedding party through each stage of the ceremony, working alongside your wedding planner or coordinator, if you have one. On your wedding day I will be a calming presence, honoring the two of you, setting the stage for your beauty and love to shine.
